British Spoken English – Advanced Method (Post O/L & A/L)
🎯 Target Group:
Students after G.C.E. O/L and A/L
Ages 16 and above
Learners who already have intermediate grammar and vocabulary but need fluency, pronunciation, and confidence in speaking
🌟 Course Goals:
Speak fluently and naturally in British English
Improve accent, intonation, and pronunciation
Express opinions clearly in academic and social discussions
Participate in interviews, debates, and presentations
Use English confidently in workplace and higher studies
🗣️ Daily Speaking Practice Activities:
Warm-Up Questions: Free talk on a topic (e.g. “If you were the president…”)
Think & Speak: Given a question, prepare & speak for 1 minute
Shadow Speaking: Repeat native speaker audio (BBC, Cambridge)
Accent Training: Focus on British sounds (ʌ, ɜː, θ, ð, etc.)
Debates & Discussions: E.g. “Should students wear uniforms?”
Mini Presentations: 2-3 mins on selected topics
